Operating system: Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7.
3ET consists of a program plus one or more databases containing text (typically, a Greek NT or a Hebrew OT).
3ET comes with one of the following databases:
Double click on the installation file. This will install the 3ET program (if it is not already installed on the computer), and – after a short pause – the associated database will be installed, at which time you may have to supply a license key. This all happens automatically; you merely have to click your way through the dialogues. (If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7, the system will also ask you once or twice to confirm the installation. Unfortunately, Windows is rather impatient: If you do not confirm the operation within a few minutes, Windows will abort the installation.)
If you intend to use 3ET for training Hebrew, you may want to install the Ezra SIL font, which contains more beautiful Hebrew characters than most of the fonts found in Windows. Ezra SIL can be downloaded free of charge here.
If you want to remove 3ET from your computer, you must open the control panel. Click “Programs and Features” (in Windows Vista or Windows 7) or “Add or Remove Programs” (in Windows XP). Here you must locate the 3ET product you wish to remove and double click it (in Widows Vista or Windows 7) or click the “Remove” button in (Windows XP). This will uninstall the product. If you do not have any other 3ET products, the 3ET program itself will subsequently be uninstalled automatically.
