3ET: Program Preferences

The File > Preferences menu item allows certain adjustments to the way 3ET displays its information. This includes modifying the fonts used by the program.

The window looks like this:

Under “Modify settings for this character set” you can choose if you want to modify the setting for Greek or Hebrew. Two further option, “Greek (Moodle)” and “Hebrew (Moodle)” allows you to modify the font used in exercises that 3ET generate for the teaching portal Moodle.

When you have chosen if you want to modify the settings for Greek or Hebrew, you can specify four things:

By ticking “Native keyboard available” you indicate that you have a Greek or Hebrew keyboard driver installed on your computer. In this case 3ET will expect you to type Greek or Hebrew directly without using Latin characters. (This option is not available for the Moodle settings.)
Font.
Font size and style (bold, italic) for displaying sentences.
Font size and style for displaying sentence units in the table below the sentences.

The drop-down list for selecting a font only displays typefaces that include the entire Greek or Hebrew alphabet.
